Individual Meetings - List of Meetings in 2010

Members can meet with our staff in Winnipeg and rural areas to discuss pension and insurance benefits. Lap top computers allow for services similar to those provided at our office in Winnipeg to be offered in rural areas like Brandon and Dauphin. Members are encouraged to bring anyone they wish to these meetings, like a spouse, partner, or financial planner.

Pre-Retirement Seminars - List of Seminars in 2010

The Pre-Retirement Seminars are half-day sessions (approximately four hours) designed for employees who are beginning to plan for retirement. They are presented in major centres throughout Manitoba for groups of 15 to 50 people. The focus of these seminars is on pension and insurance benefits offered through the CSSB.

Employee Benefit Seminars

The Employee Benefit Seminars focus on Superannuation and Group Insurance benefits on such subjects as eligibility, entitlement to benefits, family protection, disability, death, marriage or common-law breakdown, etc. and last for two to three hours. They are normally requested by groups of employees through their employer. The size of the groups can range from 15 to 250 and may include employees of the government and its related boards, commissions, and agencies.
